Griffin iTrip FM Transmitter is a world’s first

So what is the world’s first that the Griffin iTrip FM Transmitter will be known for? According to my source, it is the first iPhone controlled hardware. I have only one response to that: Really? Seriously, the iPhone, aka the Jesus phone, has only had this one iPhone controlled piece of hardware? Now that is one bad iTrip.
So how does it work? iPhone users will connect the iTrip to the iPhone or iPod touch, and then the iTrip will display tuning controls and a SmartScan button. The trademark technology will help find the most ideal frequency to broadcast music, podcasts, and audio books to any nearby FM radio, such as a car stereo.
It has a tuning wheel that is much like old-school radios, and a large menu for easy fingertip navigation of the controls. Also, “the transport controls allow track changes directly from the iTrip and return tactile button feedback to the iPhone or iPod Touch”.
By the way, the iTrip is fully compatible with the iPod classic, iPod nano 4th generation, and iPod nano 3rd generation. The iTrip will also display track and artist information on RDS compatible radios, and has 3 easy-to-use presets for instant recall.
You should be able to purchase the iTrip at major retail stores or the Griffin site for $49.99. The iTrip controller is a free app available at the iTunes App store.

Bugatti 16 C Galibier supercharged saloon - Very COOL

Bugatti describes the Galibier as "the most exclusive, elegant, and powerful four door automobile in the world." We'll cautiously suggest that two out of three ain't bad. Exclusive, no doubt; if Bugatti give it the green light, it isn't exactly going to be bargain of the century. Nor will it be short of power.

Sadly no official figures have yet been given. But we do know the Galibier's engine is flex-fuel capable - meaning, like the Bentley Supersports, we have here a supercar with green pretensions; it's capable of running on bio-ethanol. Like the Veyron, the Galibier is four-wheel drive. And this one is very COOL.

Mini Concept Coupe

MUNICH, Germany — Mini is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with the introduction of the 2009 Mini Coupe Concept in September at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show.

Mini's Design Director Gert Hildebrand discussed the new coupe at length with Inside Line, saying, "The idea to do a Mini coupe was born in our design center. New ideas never come from the board offices; they come from the floor of the design studio. BMW does trend analysis a lot and every three months we talk to Mini representatives from all over the world to discuss the needs of our clients. But we were never asked to do a coupe. We're close followers of blogs and so forth, and we just felt that people would like the idea of a car like this."

Hildebrand takes a look at this dramatic creation, a two-seater that looks low and sleek. "It's a pocket Porsche," he says. "Maybe we can bring back the same adventurous customers we had with the BMW Z3 coupe. And, actually, both cars have had the same designer — Marcus Syring."

The PSP Go may have been the worst-kept secret of this year's E3 show, but Sony's press conference has now supplied the official details. For the most part, there's little that wasn't already revealed or correctly assumed: the PSP Go is smaller, has a slide-up screen, no UMD drive--and no game-changing upgrades, such as a touch screen or second analog stick. But the big news is that the new PSP will be available in North America on October 1 for $249.

Google electric car

Do you know that Google is into the production of automobile? The company has invested 5.5 million dollars in the development of new electric cars. The amount was devide to two companies, they are the Aptera Motors and ActaCell. Aptera Motors with Google is developing a two-seater car called Aptera 2e with hybrid or electric motor. It boosts to 140km/h at 10 seconds and the max distance you can go with it is 160km. It takes less that a liter of fuel per 100km. The Aptera 2e will hit California market this October and will cost around $30,000. More pictures after the break.

Revealed Mercedes Benz F700 belongs to the king of Abu Dhabi

The result of the combined powertrain — consisting of a 238 horsepower 1.8 liter gasoline four-cylinder and a 20 horsepower electric motor — is a reported 44 mpg with CO2 emissions of just 127g/km, both figures being extremely low for a car of F 700’s size. In comparison, the Lexus GS450h has CO2 emissions of 186 g/km. The F 700 also uses a transparent cover over the rear-wheels to enhance aerodynamics. Mercedes claims the F 700 can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 7.5 seconds.

An all-new active suspension technology is also featured on the F 700, dubbed PRE-SCAN. The new system uses two laser to scan the road in front of the car and automatically adjusts the suspension to suit conditions. The F 700 also features SERVO-HMI (Human Machine Interface), a virtual operating assistant that the driver can converse with.
